I wrote this application to quickly merge several text files together (log files from the FirstClass™ BBS system, but it works with any text file). It will handle text files of an unlimited length, and will use as much memory as you care to give it — i.e. allocating more memory will speed it up (slightly).
USAGE:
To use TextMerge, either drop any number of text files onto the application, or start it as usual by double-clicking on application, and you will be presented with a Standard Save File dialog. Type a name for the output text file (or use the default name, “Merged Text”) and click Save. If you dropped some text files on the application, they will then be merged (in the order they were listed in the Finder™) and the application will quit automatically, or if you didn’t, you will be prompted for the first text file to copy into the output file, and then the next, and so on until you Cancel.
COMPATIBILITY:
This application requires System 7.0 or greater. It should work on all machines that support System 7 (i.e. the Plus upwards).

If you come across any bugs, please let me know. Rest assured I have checked it quite extensively, and found it works fine on my machine and those of my Beta Testers, but I accept no responsibility if it trashes your hard disk or blows up your Mac.
